| PURPOSE OF THE SANTA CLARA VALLEY CHAPTER The Santa Clara Valley Chapter (SCVC) is recognized and respected in the management and business community and reaches beyond local involvement to national and international communities. Members participate in dinner programs, educational workshops, and conferences while at the same time, they study and evaluate their goals and performance as leaders, managers, supervisors, and citizens. SCVC has the support and guidance of local companies. This has allowed them to develop well-rounded programs with a variety of approaches to meet the training needs of its members. With this approach SCVC can accomplish what a company is unable to do alone. The Programs Committee is currently reviewing the 2006 schedule which will include opportunities for members to improve their leadership skills by participation in chapter leadership and events. Additionally personal and chapter leadership skills will be nurtured as a result of each members involvement in our program. Finally Certified Manager Certification assistance is available. SCVC provides effective, high value programs: - Leadership development for individuals, supervisors, and middle management - Education programs for personal and on-the-job growth - Opportunities to serve the communitiy - Fellowship and contacts with men and women from other companies |
